Admission
The International Management Institute (IMI), Delhi, has a multi-stage admission process for its PGDM programs for the 2025-27 batch. The selection is based on a holistic evaluation that includes a candidate's academic record, entrance exam scores, and performance in an interview and other assessments.
Eligibility and Application
To be eligible for admission to IMI Delhi's PGDM programs, you need to meet these criteria:
-
Educational Qualification: A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA from a recognized university. Final-year students are also eligible to apply.
-
Entrance Exam: Applicants must have a valid score from one of the following national-level management entrance exams:

Selection Process
The final selection is based on a composite score that gives weight to various factors. The process involves:
-
Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted for the next round based on their entrance exam scores, past academic performance, and work experience. The expected CAT and XAT cut-off is around the 90th percentile for the general PGDM program, while for PGDM (HRM) and PGDM (B&FS), it may be slightly lower.
-
Individual Assessment (IA): This is the final stage of the selection process. It includes:
-
Essay Writing: To assess your written communication skills.
-
Psychometric Test: To evaluate your aptitude and personality traits.
-
Personal Interview (PI): A one-on-one interview to assess your knowledge, communication, and overall suitability for the program.

The final admission offer is based on a composite score that considers your entrance test score, academic profile, performance in the Individual Assessment process, work experience (if any), and diversity factors (gender and academic).
