Admission
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for admission into the BDS program, candidates must meet the following conditions:

Educational Background: Completion of 10 2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects, along with English.

Minimum Marks Requirement:

General category candidates must secure at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Candidates from SC/ST/OBC categories are eligible with a minimum of 40% aggregate in the same subjects.

Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.

Entrance Exam: A valid and qualifying score in NEET-UG is compulsory for admission.
Admission Process
Admission to the BDS program is facilitated through an online counseling system, applicable to both All India Quota and Karnataka State Quota.

NEET-UG Qualification: Candidates must appear for and successfully qualify the NEET-UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Counseling Registration: Once NEET results are declared, candidates must register for the counseling process through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). As a private minority institution, Al-Ameen Dental College fills a majority of its seats via this state-level counseling.

Choice Submission: During counseling, candidates must select their preferred colleges and courses. Al-Ameen Dental College should be listed among the choices if desired.

Seat Allocation: Seats are allotted based on NEET rank, category, and preferences submitted during counseling.

Reporting and Admission Formalities: Candidates who are allotted a seat must report to the college with original documents for verification and complete the admission process, including fee payment.
