Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (AIMSR), Hyderabad, also known as Apollo Medical College, was established in 2012 and has, over the past decade, grown into a distinguished center for medical education, clinical excellence, and research. As part of the globally renowned Apollo Hospitals Group, AIMSR combines academic rigor with real-world clinical exposure, shaping the next generation of competent and compassionate medical professionals.

As AIMSR celebrates its 10th anniversary, it takes pride in the success of its alumni, many of whom are pursuing postgraduate studies at top institutions across India and abroad. Their achievements are a testament to the strong academic foundation and mentorship they received at AIMSR.

With a strong commitment to ethics and excellence, the institute offers two core programs: the MBBS and MD/MS degrees. Postgraduate education is provided across 16 medical specialties, with an annual intake of 50 PG students. The institution boasts a team of highly experienced faculty, modern diagnostic laboratories, and a fully functional teaching hospital, where interns and residents receive hands-on training under the close supervision of senior clinicians.

The Apollo teaching hospital not only serves as a learning hub but also delivers affordable, quality healthcare to the community. It offers advanced medical services, including pediatric cardiothoracic surgeries, laparoscopic procedures, and dialysis for renal patients.

In addition to academics and clinical practice, AIMSR actively encourages students to engage in research. Many students participate in Short Term Studentship (STS) programs funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), guided by faculty mentors who support their pursuit of scientific inquiry.
