Overview
Bishop Cotton Women’s Christian Law College (BCWCLC), established in 2002, is Bangalore's only women-only law school, located behind Town Hall in the serene CSI Compound near Lalbagh. It operates under the Karnataka Central Diocese of the Church of South India, is affiliated with Karnataka State Law University, and approved by the Bar Council of India .
BCWCLC offers both three-year LL.B. and five-year B.B.A. LL.B. programs. Admission is merit-based (45% in PUC or graduation; 40% for reserved categories), with high scorers eligible for direct admission and others interviewed .

Academically, BCWCLC performs well—several students have earned top KSLU ranks across LL.B and B.B.A. LL.B batches. Its infrastructure supports co-curricular excellence alongside ethical and leadership training .
While formal placement stats aren’t published, the college maintains a placement cell and boasts alumni placements in law firms, corporate legal departments, LPOs, and public service, including state-level NSS and Republic Day events .
