Chalmeda Anand Rao Institute of Medical Sciences (CAIMS), established in 2003 and managed by the Arihant Educational Society, is a well-established medical institution with a 1000-bedded teaching hospital. Located in the peaceful and pollution-free environment of Bommakal, it lies just a 10-minute drive from Karimnagar Bus Station, along the Karimnagar–Ramagundam Rajiv Highway.

The college boasts a sprawling 35-acre campus with advanced infrastructure and state-of-the-art medical facilities. For the past decade, CAIMS has been successfully conducting the MBBS program with an annual intake of 150 students, maintaining a consistent record of academic excellence.

In addition to undergraduate medical education, CAIMS offers postgraduate (PG) degrees, PG diploma programs, a Ph.D. in Pharmacology, and a B.Sc. Nursing course. The institution is also preparing to launch various paramedical courses in the near future.
