Overview
The Department of Law at the University of Kashmir, Srinagar, is a prominent institution dedicated to providing comprehensive legal education in the region. Established in 1973 through the efforts of Prof. A.A. Wani and Prof. Riyaz Punjabi, the department began its journey in Gandhi Bhawan with Prof. M.R. Zaffer as its first head.
