Eligibility Criteria for BDS Admission

To apply for the BDS program at Educare Institute of Dental Sciences, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Academic Qualification: Must have passed 10 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.

• Minimum Marks:

  • General Category: Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB/Biotechnology.

  • SC/ST/SEBC Categories: Minimum 40% aggregate in PCB/Biotechnology.

• Entrance Exam: Must qualify the NEET-UG conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

• Age Requirement: Must be 17 years or older on or before December 31 of the admission year.

Admission Process Overview

Admission to the 100 BDS seats (including General and NRI quota) is managed through the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. 

1. Qualify NEET-UG: Candidates must appear for and pass NEET-UG.

2. Register for KEAM: Mandatory registration on the CEE Kerala portal, even if applying only for medical/dental courses.

3. Submit NEET Details: Upload NEET score and rank using KEAM credentials.

4. Participate in CAP: Engage in centralized counseling for seat allotment.

5. Choice Filling: Select preferred colleges and courses, including Educare Institute of Dental Sciences.

6. Seat Allotment: Based on NEET rank, preferences, and reservation quotas.

7. Reporting to College: Visit the college with original documents and pay the required fees to confirm admission.

Note: Admission is strictly based on the Kerala NEET rank list prepared by CEE Kerala. Direct applications to the college for government quota seats are not accepted.

These cut-offs are based on previous years’ final rounds and represent All India Ranks (AIR). Actual ranks may vary each year depending on the number of applicants, exam difficulty, and seat availability.
