Employees State Insurance Corporation Medical College, Joka, Kolkata

ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Joka, operates under the administrative control of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), a statutory body functioning under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.

The institution is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and offers 125 MBBS seats annually. In addition to undergraduate education, the college has expanded its postgraduate programs. Initially recognized for its postgraduate course in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, the institution added several new PG courses in the academic year 2021–2022, including ENT, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Pathology, Anaesthesiology, General Medicine, and Community Medicine.
