Admission
1. Undergraduate Admissions (B.Tech )
Admissions to undergraduate programs are handled by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, through the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP).

B.Tech Admission:

Entrance Exam: Candidates must qualify for the KEAM (Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical) entrance exam.

Eligibility: A pass in Higher Secondary (10 2) with at least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).

Selection: Based on a rank list prepared by giving equal weightage (50:50) to KEAM scores and 12th-grade PCM marks.
Admission Categories & Reservation
As a government institution, GEC Thrissur follows strict state reservation policies:

State Merit (SM): Open to all candidates based on rank.

Communal Reservation: Seats are reserved for SEBC (Ezhava, Muslim, etc.), SC, and ST categories.

Special Reservations: Quotas for EWS, Differently Abled (PD), and wards of Ex-servicemen.

Spot Admissions: After regular rounds of allotment, the college often conducts "Spot Admission" rounds to fill remaining vacant seats.
5. Admission Procedure at College
Once a seat is allotted via the CEE/DTE portal, students must report to the college with:

Allotment Memo and Data Sheet.

KEAM/GATE/LET Scorecard and Admit Card.

Original Certificates: 10th and 12th standard mark sheets, Transfer Certificate (TC), and Conduct Certificate.

Physical Fitness Certificate (in the prescribed format).
Fee Receipt: Proof of payment of the seat confirmation fee to the CEE/DTE.
