Admission Process

• Application Mode: Online via the official college portal or through Punjab Technical University (IK Gujral PTU, Jalandhar).

• Entrance Exam: Admission is primarily based on JEE Main scores.

  • If seats remain vacant, admission may be offered on the basis of 12th marks (merit-based counseling).

• Counseling: Conducted by IK Gujral Punjab Technical University.

• Steps:

  1. Register and fill application form.

  2. Upload required documents (marksheets, ID proof, etc.).

  3. Pay application/registration fee.

  4. Appear for counseling and seat allotment.

  5. Confirm admission by paying fees and submitting documents.

 Eligibility Criteria

• Academic Qualification:

  • Must have passed 10 2 (Class XII) with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

  • One of Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Technical Vocational subject as optional.

• Minimum Marks:

  • At least 45% aggregate (General category).

  • 40% aggregate for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

• Entrance Exam: Valid JEE Main score preferred for seat allotment.

 Seat Intake

• Total B.Tech Seat Capacity: Around 300–360 seats across specializations.

• Major Specializations Offered:

  • Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)

  • Mechanical Engineering (ME)

  • Civil Engineering (CE)

  • Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

  • Electrical Engineering (EE)

• Distribution: Each branch typically has 60 seats (standard PTU intake norms).
