Naraina Medical College & Research Centre (NMCRC) in Kanpur stands as a beacon of medical education and healthcare service in Uttar Pradesh. Established in 2013 under the auspices of the Naraina Group of Institutions, the college is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow, and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) .
Situated in Panki, Kanpur, the college spans a 25-acre campus that houses a multispecialty hospital with over 350 beds, including 100 in the intensive care unit. The hospital caters to more than 700 outpatients daily, offering a wide range of services across various specialties such as cardiology, neurology, oncology, gastroenterology, nephrology, and more .
The college offers a comprehensive MBBS program spanning 5.5 years, inclusive of a one-year internship. With an intake of 150 students annually, the program is designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the medical field .
NMCRC boasts a modern infrastructure, including well-equipped lecture halls, laboratories, a central library, and hostels for both male and female students. The campus is also equipped with Wi-Fi facilities and computer labs to support the academic needs of students .
