Overview
Osmania Medical College, established in 1846, is one of the oldest and most prestigious medical institutions in India. Originally founded as the Hyderabad Medical School during the reign of the 5th Nizam of Hyderabad, Afzal ud Dowla, it was later renamed in honor of the seventh Nizam, Mir Osman Ali Khan, after the establishment of Osmania University in 1919.
Located in the heart of Hyderabad, Telangana, the college is affiliated with the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences and operates in conjunction with the Osmania General Hospital, providing students with extensive clinical exposure.
