Prathima Institute Of Medical Sciences, Karimnagar

Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) was established in 2001 under the Prathima Educational Society, a registered organization under the Societies Act. Located in Karimnagar, Telangana, the institute was founded with a clear mission: to make quality healthcare accessible to all, to promote awareness in health and family welfare, and to uphold excellence in medical education, research, and clinical care.

Catering to the healthcare needs of people from nine neighboring districts, PIMS plays a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive medical services and education in the region. The institution is recognized by the Government of India and the Medical Council of India (now National Medical Commission) and is affiliated with the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal.

The college began its journey with an annual intake of 250 MBBS students and has since expanded to offer postgraduate medical and diploma courses in various specialties, contributing significantly to the growth of skilled healthcare professionals in the state.
