Raghu Engineering College was established in 2001 and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It’s affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University – Gurajada, Vizianagaram and accredited by NBA and NAAC with an ‘A’ grade. The campus spans roughly 40–50 acres and supports a vibrant student body with academic and extracurricular facilities. The college offers undergraduate (B.Tech) and postgraduate (M.Tech) programs across multiple engineering disciplines and emphasizes industry-aligned learning, research, and placements. Computer Labs & IT Infrastructure Raghu Engineering College provides a well-equipped computing environment across several types of computer labs tailored to different aspects of engineering education, especially for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department. Key computer lab facilities include: Computer Programming Lab – Hands-on practice for problem solving and coding fundamentals. IT Workshop Lab – Hardware assembly/disassembly and office application training (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). C Lab – Focused on object-oriented programming. Python Lab – For advanced programming including data science and machine learning basics. Data Structures Lab – Builds algorithm-centric and performance-based applications. Java Lab – Training in Java programming from basics to advanced APIs. DBMS Lab – Client/server database work with Oracle/MySQL, SQL/PL-SQL, and connectivity to applications. Operating Systems & Compiler Design Lab – For OS principles and compiler tools. FOSS Lab – Exposure to Linux and open-source software. Web Application Development Lab – Training in modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS, PHP/MySQL). Data Warehousing & Mining Lab – Data analytics and mining practice. Unix Programming Lab – System programming and Linux/Unix system concepts. Mobile Application Development Lab – For Android and mobile app creation.
