Raiganj Government Medical College & Hospital, Raiganj

Raiganj Government Medical College and Hospital was originally established as a district hospital in Raiganj town, located in Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal. In 2018, it was upgraded to a full-fledged government medical college with the vision of expanding access to quality medical education and healthcare services. The aim was not only to serve the residents of Raiganj and nearby areas but also to cater to the healthcare needs of the surrounding districts within Uttar Dinajpur.

Strategically situated on Dr. B.C. Roy Sarani in the heart of Raiganj city, the college campus spans a vast area. It features the original hospital complex on one side and a newly developed 12-storey academic block on the other, where several departments have already been relocated. Infrastructure development is ongoing, with residential quarters, student hostels, and other support facilities quickly taking shape, contributing to the institution's growth as a premier center for medical education and healthcare delivery in the region.
