MBA/PGDM Eligibility Criteria – RSB

Educational Qualification	Bachelor’s degree (e.g., B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc., BBA, B.Com) from a UGC-recognized university or equivalent exam approved by AICTE
Minimum Marks	At least 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) in graduation
Reserved Categories	Relaxation for SC/ST candidates, requiring a minimum of 45% aggregate marks
Final Year Students	Eligible to apply, provided final mark sheet and degree certificate are submitted by the deadline (usually September 30 of the admission year)

Step	Description
Step 1: Application and Entrance Exam Score	Candidates must hold a valid, non-zero score in one of the accepted exams (CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, ATMA, or TANCET). Applications are submitted online via the official RSB website.
Step 2: Shortlisting	Based on academic performance, entrance exam scores, and relevant work experience (if any).
Step 3: Selection Rounds	Shortlisted candidates participate in final rounds, which may include: - Statement of Purpose (SOP) submission - Written Ability Test (WAT) (if conducted) - Personal Interview (PI) assessing communication skills, general knowledge, attitude, and suitability for the program
Step 4: Final Selection	Admission offers are made based on a composite score derived from: - Entrance Exam Score - Past Academic Performance (10th, 12th, Graduation) - PI/WAT performance - Work Experience (if any) - Extracurricular achievements

RSB follows a holistic selection process and does not publish rigid cut-offs. However, minimum percentile requirements are generally observed:

Note: Final admission decisions are based on the overall composite score rather than entrance exam performance alone.
