The School of Law at RV University, Bengaluru, is a nascent and dynamic part of a larger liberal-education university with a legacy of over eight decades through the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust . Founded in 2021 and officially recognized by the Bar Council of India in June 2023, it launched its integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programs, alongside LL.M. and Ph.D. tracks, marking its emergence as the sixth school within RVU.

RVU’s School of Law distinguishes itself through a truly interdisciplinary curriculum, enabling students to take electives from sister schools across business, technology, design, and public policy. The teaching model promotes innovative pedagogy—flipped classrooms, case-study method, real-world projects—and emphasizes research-led learning from the undergraduate stage . Faculty include a strong blend of experienced academics and practitioners, many with international credentials, overseen by Prof. (Dr.) Y.S.R. Murthy, former Jindal Global Law School faculty, as founding Dean .

A major strength is RVU’s global outlook: it has formal MoUs with Seattle University School of Law to offer dual LL.M. pathways and scholarships for students, alongside collaborations with over 50 international universities and national think-tanks . The university pledges merit scholarships worth up to INR 1 crore and affordable annual law fees (~₹2.5 Lakh per year) .

Located adjacent to Pattangere Metro Station on Mysuru Road, the campus is shared with RV College of Engineering across 50‑55 acres. It offers modern facilities—smart classrooms, library, auditorium, gym, legal clinic, moot court, transport, hostels, and on‑site services like banking and healthcare.
