Eligibility Criteria

• Academic: Pass in 12th (PUC) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

• Minimum Marks: 45% aggregate in PCM (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates of Karnataka).

• Entrance Exams: Valid rank in KCET, COMEDK UGET, or JEE Main.

SJCE operates under JSS Science and Technology University, and seats are distributed as follows:

1. CET Quota: For Karnataka residents (Managed by KEA). Use KEA Code: E007.

2. COMEDK Quota: For non-Karnataka and All-India candidates.

3. University/Management Quota: Direct admissions are handled by the university. Application forms are usually available on the JSS STU Official Website.

Admission Process 

1. Register for Exam: Ensure you are registered for KCET or COMEDK. Note: The COMEDK deadline is this Friday.

2. Counseling: After results, participate in the centralized counseling process. Rank-based "Option Entry" is critical here; SJCE Mysore typically closes its top branches (like CS and IS) at very high ranks.

3. Document Verification: Once a seat is provisionally allotted, verify your documents at the designated KEA/COMEDK centers.

4. Reporting: Visit the SJCE campus in Manasagangothri, Mysore, to complete the final admission and pay the balance fee.
