​Sri Muthukumaran Medical College Hospital and Research Institute (SMMCHRI), established in 2009, is a private medical institution located in Chikkarayapuram, near Mangadu, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the college offers undergraduate and postgraduate medical programs. The MBBS course spans 4.5 years, followed by a one-year compulsory rotating medical internship, totaling 5.5 years of study. Admissions are based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) scores. The college has an annual intake of 150 MBBS students. Postgraduate courses (MD/MS) are also offered in various specialties.
