Eligibility for Indian Students
- Academic: 10 2 with PCB, 50% marks (General), 45% (Reserved)
- Age: Minimum 17 years by 31st December of admission year
- Exam: NEET qualified (valid scorecard)
- Language Proficiency: IELTS/TOEFL not required
After completing your MBBS from Ural State Medical University, your eligibility to practice medicine or pursue a postgraduate degree in India or abroad depends on passing the required licensing exams for each country. As the university is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India, this is a positive first step.
In India
To practice in India, you must meet the following NMC guidelines:

NEET Qualification: You must have qualified for the NEET-UG examination before you were admitted to the university.

Course Duration: The medical course must be for a minimum duration of 54 months of theoretical and practical training, followed by a 12-month internship.

Medium of Instruction: The entire MBBS curriculum must be taught in English.

Internship: The 12-month internship must be completed at the same institution where you studied your degree.

Licensing Exam: You must pass the National Exit Test (NExT), which is mandatory for all foreign medical graduates to get a medical license in India.
Outside India
The requirements to practice medicine in other countries vary significantly.

United States of America (USA): You must pass all parts of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and then apply for a residency program.

United Kingdom (UK): You need to pass the Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB) test and demonstrate English language proficiency.
