Eligibility Criteria:

    • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

    • Minimum 50% aggregate marks.

    • Maximum age of 27 years as of July 1 of the admission year.

  • Selection Process:

    • Based on AMU CAT scores.

    • Personal Interview (PI), Aptitude Assessment, and Group Discussion (GD).

 

 

Step-by-Step AMU Admission Process

 Step 1: Visit the Official Website

  • Go to or (for CUET-based PG admissions).

  • Choose your desired course and click on the “Apply Now” button.

 Step 2: Register as a New User

  • Create an account by entering:

    1. Full name

    2. Email ID

    3. Mobile number

    4. Password

  • Verify your email/mobile via OTP.

 Step 3: Fill in Basic Details

  • Personal information: Name, DOB, gender, nationality, religion

  • Contact details: Address, alternate email, phone number

  • Parent/guardian details

 Step 4: Enter Educational Qualifications

  • Provide academic history:

    1. Class 10 and 12 marks

    2. Board name

    3. Year of passing

    4. Stream and subjects

 Step 5: Upload Required Documents

  • Recent passport-size photograph

  • Signature

  • Scanned copies of certificates (as per course requirements)

 Step 6: Select Course and Category

  • Choose the program you’re applying for

  • Select applicable reservation category (if any)

 Step 7: Pay the Application Fee

  • Fee ranges from ₹700 to ₹1,550 depending on the course

  • Pay via debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI

 Step 8: Submit the Application

  • Review all details carefully

  • Click Submit & Finalize”

  • Save or print the confirmation page for future reference

 Step 9: Correction Window (if needed)

  • AMU provides a correction window to fix errors in the form

 Step 10: Download Admit Card

  • Available a few weeks before the entrance exam

  • Required for entry into the test center

 

 Step 11: Check Results & Merit List

  • Results are announced online

  • Merit list is published for shortlisted candidates

 Step 12: Attend Counselling & Document Verification

  • Physical reporting at AMU campus

  • Submit original documents and confirm seat.

 

MBA entrance cutoff information

 

Exam / Year Estimated Cutoff / Criteria
AMU MBA (General) Based on performance in the AMU MBA entrance test and overall merit comparison; no fixed public cutoff.
AMU CAT (Trend estimates) General category: ~98.5 – 99.5 percentile; Reserved categories: ~90 – 95 percentile (indicative only, varies each year).
Other exams (XAT, GMAT, CMAT) Previous trends suggest cutoffs around 80 percentile for CAT, 75 percentile for XAT, and ~80 percentile for CMAT (indicative).
