Annoor Dental College & Hospital is born out of the foresight, persistence and leadership of the late Janab T. M. Seethy, Founder Chairman. An established business person, a virtuous social influencer, a versatile scholar and an ardent philanthropist, Janab T M Seethy had been a multifaceted personality much admired in the economic and socio-cultural realms of Kerala for decades.His extensive experience spanning over forty years in the field of education combined with his intense desire to give back to society culminated in the formation of Annoor Dental College & Hospital. The seed of knowledge he sowed has today grown into a gigantic tree that confers care, solace, happiness, peace and satisfaction to the patients, students, management personnel, staff and others who associate with the College & Hospital.

Established in 2003, Annoor Dental College & Hospital is a premier institution located in Muvattupuzha, in the Ernakulam district of Kerala. Founded by the visionary philanthropist Late Janab T. M. Seethy Haji, the college was created with the mission of delivering high-quality dental education and accessible oral healthcare to all sections of society. The institution operates under the motto “As One Who Serves,” which reflects its commitment to academic excellence and community service.

Annoor Dental College is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and is recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI). It has also earned accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), further validating its academic standards and institutional integrity. The college offers a comprehensive range of programs in dentistry, including the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in multiple specialties, and PhD-level research opportunities. The BDS program spans five years, comprising four years of academic instruction followed by a one-year compulsory rotating internship. Admission to the BDS course is based on performance in the NEET-UG examination, with seat allocation managed through centralized counseling.

At the postgraduate level, the MDS program is offered in key specialties such as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Pedodontics, Oral Medicine & Radiology, Oral Pathology, and Public Health Dentistry. Each MDS specialization typically admits three students per year, ensuring focused mentorship and hands-on clinical training. The campus spans approximately 8.61 acres, providing a serene and well-equipped environment for learning and patient care. Facilities include modern lecture halls, fully equipped laboratories, and a central library housing over 3,000 volumes and digital resources. Separate hostel accommodations for male and female students are available, with 24-hour security, uninterrupted water and power supply, and recreational amenities. The attached dental hospital serves as a vital training ground for students and a healthcare resource for the local community. It offers treatment across all major dental specialties and is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools and treatment units. The college regularly organizes dental camps and outreach programs, reinforcing its role in public health and preventive care.
