Government Engineering College (GEC), Dahod was established in June 2004 and is a government-run engineering institution located on Jhalod Road, Dahod, Gujarat – 389151. The college operates under the Commissionerate of Technical Education, Education Department, Government of Gujarat. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad. The campus spans approximately 17 acres and includes academic buildings, workshop blocks, library, canteen, sports facilities, and separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. GEC Dahod aims to provide technical education with a focus on innovation, entrepreneurship, ethical values, and professional competence. The institute offers undergraduate (B.E./B.Tech) and postgraduate (M.E./M.Tech) programs across core engineering branches and maintains a Training & Placement Cell to support students with employability skills, industry interaction, and career guidance.
