Admission
Step 1: Check Your Eligibility
Before beginning your application, ensure you meet the criteria set by both the university and the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India.

Academic Requirements: You must have completed your 10 2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects.

Minimum Marks: General category students need at least 50% aggregate in PCB. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum requirement is 40%.

NEET Qualification: A valid NEET scorecard is mandatory. You must have qualified NEET in accordance with NMC guidelines.

Age Limit: You should be 17 years or older by December 31 of the year you plan to enroll.
Step 2: Prepare and Submit Your Documents
Once eligibility is confirmed, gather the necessary documents and submit them to the university or its authorized representative. Most universities accept scanned copies via email or online portals.

Valid passport (minimum 2 years validity)

Passport-sized photographs (white background)

Step 3: Admission Confirmation & Invitation Letter
After reviewing your application, the university will issue:

Admission Letter: Confirms your acceptance into the program. This typically takes a few working days.

Invitation Letter: An official document required for your student visa application. It’s issued after your admission is confirmed and is essential for visa processing.
Step 4: Apply for Your Student Visa
With the invitation letter in hand, you can apply for a student visa at the Russian Embassy or Consulate in India.

Step 5: Travel to Russia & Complete Enrollment
Once your visa is approved, book your flight to Irkutsk and notify the university or your representative of your travel details.
Upon Arrival:

You’ll receive a migration card at border control keep it safe.

The university will arrange airport pickup if informed in advance.
Final Enrollment: Within a few days of arrival, submit your original documents to the International Student Office at ISMU. This completes your enrollment and visa registration, allowing you to officially begin your academic journey.
