Yadgiri Institute of Medical Sciences

The Yadgiri Institute of Medical Sciences (YIMS), established in 2022, is a government medical college located in Yadgiri, Karnataka. Affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and approved by the National Medical Commission, YIMS offers a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program with an annual intake of 150 students .​

The campus features modern infrastructure, including well-equipped laboratories, a comprehensive library, and separate hostel facilities for male and female students. The attached 500-bed teaching hospital provides students with practical exposure to a wide range of clinical cases, enhancing their hands-on learning experience .​ Admission to the MBBS program is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) scores, following the guidelines set by the Karnataka Examination Authority.
