BDS Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification

Candidates must have completed 10 2 or equivalent from a recognized board.

The qualifying subjects must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

Minimum aggregate marks required:
-
General category: 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC): 40% in the same subjects.

Age Requirement

Applicants must be at least 17 years old as of December 31st in the year of admission.
NEET-UG Requirement

A valid NEET-UG score is mandatory for admission to the BDS program.

Candidates must meet the minimum qualifying percentile set by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for their respective category.
Admission Process

Step 1: Register and appear for the NEET-UG exam conducted by NTA.

Step 2: Participate in centralized counseling through:

All India Quota (AIQ) via the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

State Quota via Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
-
ESIC-Insured Person (IP) Quota, applicable to wards of ESIC beneficiaries.
-

Step 3: Submit the application form through the official ESIC Dental College portal.
-
Step 4: Attend document verification and pay the admission fee upon seat allotment.
