IIM Lucknow Selection Process 2025: Key Stages
IIM Lucknow Admission Process 2025 – PGP & Other Programs
For admission to the PGP programme at IIM Lucknow, candidates must possess a valid CAT score that meets the institute's cutoff. This flagship programme requires applicants to complete the CAT registration and appear for the test. For other programmes such as Executive PGP, FPM, or Certificate courses, candidates can apply directly via the official website of IIM Lucknow. Accepted entrance exams for Executive PGP include GMAT, CAT, XAT, GATE, or the PGP-WE Entrance Test. For FPM admissions, scores from CAT, GATE, GRE, GMAT, or JRF/SRF (UGC/CSIR/ICAR) are accepted.
Step 1: Registration and Application Submission
The entire application process for IIM Lucknow is conducted online. For DPM admissions, after submitting the application form online, candidates must also send a printed copy of the filled form along with required documents to the institute by post. For PGP, registration through the CAT portal is required. For other courses, candidates can apply directly through IIM Lucknow’s official website.
Step 2: WAT and Personal Interview
Shortlisting of candidates is based on CAT scores and academic qualifications. Shortlisted candidates must participate in the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). A composite score is then calculated to determine the final selection. For other programmes, candidates who meet the eligibility requirements are evaluated based on specific selection criteria for that course.
Step 3: Merit List Announcement
Once all evaluation rounds are complete, IIM Lucknow publishes a category-wise list of selected candidates on its official website. Candidates featured on this merit list qualify for admission.
Step 4: Seat Confirmation
Candidates who are offered admission must secure their seat by submitting the required admission fee within the specified timeline.
