Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following requirements:

NEET UG Qualification: A valid and qualifying score in the NEET UG examination is mandatory.

Educational Background: Completion of 10 2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as core subjects.

Minimum Marks: General category candidates must secure at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB. Candidates from reserved categories (SC/ST/SEBC) and those with physical disabilities may be eligible with a lower percentage, as per government norms.

Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 17 years of age by December 31 of the admission year.
Admission Process
The admission procedure is overseen by the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC) and typically involves the following steps:

Online Registration: Candidates must register on the official ACPUGMEC portal and purchase a PIN to begin the application process.

Document Verification: After registration, candidates are required to visit a designated Help Center for physical verification of their documents.

Merit List Announcement: ACPUGMEC compiles and publishes a merit list based on NEET UG scores of all registered applicants.

Counseling and Choice Filling: Eligible candidates participate in online counseling rounds, where they can select and lock their preferred colleges and courses. Mock counseling rounds may be conducted to help candidates understand the process.

Seat Allotment: Seats are allocated based on NEET UG rank, preferences submitted, and availability across institutions.

Reporting to College: Candidates who receive a seat must report to Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College & Hospital with original documents and complete the admission formalities, including payment of fees.
