Eligibility Criteria for BDS Admission
To apply for the BDS program, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Educational Qualification: Completion of 10 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as core subjects.

Minimum Marks: At least 50% aggregate in PCB for General category candidates. Reserved categories may have relaxed criteria as per DCI or state guidelines.

Entrance Exam: Must qualify the NEET-UG exam for the current academic year.

Age Requirement: Must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.
Admission Process
Admission is conducted through centralized counseling:

Appear for NEET-UG: Candidates must take the NEET-UG exam.

Result & Scorecard: Download the official NEET scorecard.

Counseling Registration:

All India Quota (AIQ): Register via the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

State Quota (Karnataka): Register through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

Choice Filling: Select and prioritize S. B. Patil Institute during counseling rounds.

Seat Allotment: Based on NEET rank, preferences, and seat availability.

Reporting & Admission: If allotted a seat, report to the college for document verification and fee payment.
