Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria for BDS Admission
To apply for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program, candidates must meet the following conditions:

Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as core subjects.

Minimum Marks:

General Category: Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB.

Reserved Categories: Relaxation in marks as per DCI and KEA norms.

Entrance Exam: Must qualify the NEET-UG exam for the current academic year.

Age Requirement: Must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the admission year.
Admission Process
Admission is conducted through centralized counseling:

Step 1: Appear for NEET-UG.

Step 2: Download NEET scorecard and result.

Step 3: Register for counseling:

All India Quota (AIQ): Through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

State Quota (Karnataka): Through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

Step 4: Fill and lock choices, including S. B. Patil Institute.

Step 5: Seat allotment based on NEET rank, preferences, and seat availability.

Step 6: Report to the college for document verification and fee payment.
