Step-by-Step MBA Admission Process – SIMATS 2025

Step 1: Check Eligibility

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) from a recognized university

• Minimum 50% aggregate marks required

• Final-year students can also apply

Step 2: Take an Entrance Exam

• Accepted exams:

  • CAT (Common Admission Test)

  • XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test)

  • MAT (Management Aptitude Test)

  • CMAT (Common Management Admission Test)

  • TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test)

Step 3: Apply Online

• Visit the SIMATS Admission Portal

• Fill out the MBA application form

• Upload required documents (marksheets, ID proof, entrance scorecard)

• Pay the application fee online

Step 4: Personal Interview (PI)

• Shortlisted candidates are invited for a Personal Interview

• Conducted by the School of Management at SIMATS

• Evaluates communication skills, leadership potential, and subject knowledge

Step 5: Final Selection

• Based on:

  • Entrance exam score

  • PI performance

  • Academic background

• Selected candidates receive an admission offer

Step 6: Document Verification & Fee Payment

• Submit original documents for verification

• Pay the first installment of tuition and hostel fees to confirm admission
