MCC Announce Addition of New Colleges for MBBS Admissions 2025 – Check Details Now!
It has been informed that the National Medical Commission (NMC) has released a seat matrix dated 03.09.2025, which includes details of newly recognized or increased MBBS seats in various medical colleges across the country. All participating institutes in UG Counselling 2025, where seat increases have taken place after the commencement of Round-1, are being advised to ensure that the new seats are contributed on the intramcc portal for Round-2, strictly as per the seat matrix provided by NMC. It is being advised that any excess seats contributed, which do not match the approved matrix, are likely to be cancelled. Any complications or legal issues arising from such actions are to be dealt with solely by the concerned institute.

According to the Updated notice for inclusion of new PwD centres:
All candidates participating in UG Counselling 2025 are informed that, for the ease and convenience of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), additional medical colleges have been included as Designated Disability Centres by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). These new centres have been approved to issue Disability Certificates in accordance with the Interim Guidelines issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC) for the assessment of disabilities for MBBS admissions under the PwBD category for the academic year 2025-26.
The PwD portal for Round-2 of UG Counselling 2025 has been activated and will remain open until 12:00 noon on 9th September 2025. PwBD candidates are advised to visit one of the designated centres before this deadline, carrying their valid UDID card. After proper evaluation, a Disability Certificate will be issued to eligible candidates, which will be used for counselling and seat allotment purposes under the reserved category.
These newly designated centres will now work alongside the existing 16 Disability Centres already recognized by the MCC. PwBD candidates can visit any of these centres to undergo a medical examination and obtain a valid Disability Certificate, which is required for admission under the PwBD quota. The assessment at these centres will be carried out based on the method outlined by the NMC to ensure fairness and uniformity.
