XAT 2027 Syllabus
The XAT syllabus covers four major areas. Each section tests a different set of skills, so candidates should prepare all sections according to their strengths and weaknesses.
1. Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VALR)
This section evaluates English language proficiency, reading comprehension, vocabulary and logical reasoning skills.
2. Decision Making (DM)
Decision Making is one of the most distinctive sections of XAT. It evaluates a candidate's ability to make practical, logical and ethical decisions in different situations.
3. Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation (QA & DI)
This section tests numerical ability, mathematical concepts and data analysis skills.Candidates should develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts.
4. General Knowledge (GK)
The General Knowledge section tests awareness of national and international events, business developments and static general knowledge.
