Step-by-Step BDS Admission Process at GRIDS

1. NEET-UG Qualification

• Candidates must appear for and qualify the NEET-UG exam, which is the only accepted entrance test for BDS admissions in India.

• NEET-UG 2025 is scheduled for May 4, 2025.

2. Counseling Registration

• After NEET results are announced, candidates must register for Gujarat state counseling through the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC).

• Registration involves submitting personal, academic, and category details online, followed by document verification at designated help centers.

3. Choice Filling and Seat Allotment

• During counseling, candidates can select GRIDS as one of their preferred colleges.

• Seat allotment is based on NEET rank, category, seat availability, and preferences filled during the counseling process.

4. Document Verification

• Candidates allotted a seat must report to the college with original documents for verification.

• Required documents typically include:

  • NEET Admit Card and Scorecard

  • Class 10 and 12 Mark Sheets

  • Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

  • Passport-size photographs

  • Valid ID proof

5. Fee Payment and Admission Confirmation

• Once documents are verified, candidates must pay the prescribed tuition fee to confirm their admission.

• The BDS fee at GRIDS is approximately ₹12,48,000, subject to change based on quota and regulatory updates.

• GRIDS follows the Gujarat Professional Medical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007 for admissions and fee structure.

• Candidates applying under the NRI quota must complete verification and payment procedures at the ACPUGMEC office in Gandhinagar.

• There are typically two rounds of online counseling, followed by a mop-up round for any remaining seats.
