Admission
Step-by-Step BDS Admission Process at GRIDS
1. NEET-UG Qualification
-
Candidates must appear for and qualify the NEET-UG exam, which is the only accepted entrance test for BDS admissions in India.
-
NEET-UG 2025 is scheduled for May 4, 2025.
2. Counseling Registration
-
After NEET results are announced, candidates must register for Gujarat state counseling through the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC).
-
Registration involves submitting personal, academic, and category details online, followed by document verification at designated help centers.
3. Choice Filling and Seat Allotment
-
During counseling, candidates can select GRIDS as one of their preferred colleges.
-
Seat allotment is based on NEET rank, category, seat availability, and preferences filled during the counseling process.
4. Document Verification
-
Candidates allotted a seat must report to the college with original documents for verification.
-
Required documents typically include:
-
NEET Admit Card and Scorecard
-
Class 10 and 12 Mark Sheets
-
Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate
-
Caste Certificate (if applicable)
-
Passport-size photographs
-
Valid ID proof
-
5. Fee Payment and Admission Confirmation
-
Once documents are verified, candidates must pay the prescribed tuition fee to confirm their admission.
-
The BDS fee at GRIDS is approximately ₹12,48,000, subject to change based on quota and regulatory updates.
Additional Notes
-
GRIDS follows the Gujarat Professional Medical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007 for admissions and fee structure.
-
Candidates applying under the NRI quota must complete verification and payment procedures at the ACPUGMEC office in Gandhinagar.
-
There are typically two rounds of online counseling, followed by a mop-up round for any remaining seats.
