Eligibility Criteria for BDS Admission
To qualify for admission into the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

Academic Qualification: Completion of 10 2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as mandatory subjects.

Minimum Marks:

General Category: At least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

SC/ST/OBC Categories: Minimum of 40% aggregate in the same subjects.

NEET-UG Requirement: A valid NEET-UG score meeting the prescribed cutoff percentile is essential.

Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31 of the year of admission.
Admission Process
Admission to the BDS program is conducted through a centralized system overseen by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The steps include:

Appear for NEET-UG: Candidates must take and qualify in the NEET-UG exam.

Register for Counseling: After results are announced, candidates must register for Karnataka NEET counseling via the KEA official website.

Choice Filling: During counseling, candidates should list their preferred colleges and courses, including KGF College of Dental Sciences & Hospital.

Seat Allotment: Based on NEET rank, category, and preferences, seats are allocated. The college admits 40 students annually for the BDS program.

Document Verification: Candidates allotted a seat must report to the college with original documents for verification and complete the admission formalities, including fee payment.
