Eligibility
BDS Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission into the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10 2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as core subjects, along with English as a compulsory subject.

Minimum Marks Requirement:

General Category: Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

SC/ST/OBC Categories: Minimum 40% aggregate in the same subjects.

NEET-UG Qualification: Candidates must appear for and qualify in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG), which is mandatory for all dental aspirants across India.

Age Criteria: Must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31 of the admission year. Additional age-related conditions may apply as per NEET and DCI guidelines.
Admission Process

Entrance Exam: Admission is strictly based on NEET-UG scores. Candidates must register and appear for the NEET exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Counseling and Seat Allotment: After qualifying NEET, candidates must participate in Karnataka NEET Counseling, managed by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Seat allotment is based on NEET rank, category, and preferences filled during counseling.

Annual Intake: The college offers 40 seats annually for the BDS program.
