National Institute of Technology Patna (NITP)

Eligibility Criteria

• B.Tech / B.Arch: Candidates must have passed Class 12 (HSC) with a minimum of 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD).

• M.Tech / M.Arch: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch) in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST).

Qualifying Exam

• B.Tech: JEE Main (Paper 1).

• M.Tech / M.Arch: GATE.

Application Process

1. Entrance Exam: Register and appear for the relevant national exam (JEE Main/GATE/NIMCET).

2. Counseling Registration: After results, register for centralized counseling:

• JoSAA/CSAB for B.Tech/B.Arch.

• CCMT for M.Tech/M.Arch.

• CCMN for M.Sc.

3. Choice Filling: Select NIT Patna and the preferred branch/specialization during counseling.

4. Seat Allotment: Based on merit rank and choices, seats are allotted.

5. Reporting: Report to the institute for document verification and pay the admission fees.
