BDS Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

   • Must have passed 10 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

   • Required subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

2. Minimum Marks

   • General Category: Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.

   • SC/ST/OBC Categories: Minimum 40% aggregate in the same subjects.

   • General-PwD Category: Minimum 45% aggregate.

3. Age Requirement

   • Must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31 of the year of admission.

4. NEET-UG Qualification

   • Must qualify the NEET-UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

   • Minimum qualifying percentile:

     • General Category: 50th percentile

     • SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile

     • General-PwD: 45th percentile

5. Admission Process

   • Admission is granted through centralized counselling:

     • All India Quota (AIQ): Managed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

     • State Quota (Karnataka): Managed by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

   • Candidates must register with the appropriate counselling authority and select NSVK Sri Venkateshwara Dental College & Hospital as a preferred choice.
