BDS Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Must have passed 10 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Required subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

Minimum Marks
-
General Category: Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.

SC/ST/OBC Categories: Minimum 40% aggregate in the same subjects.

General-PwD Category: Minimum 45% aggregate.

Age Requirement

Must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31 of the year of admission.

NEET-UG Qualification

Must qualify the NEET-UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Minimum qualifying percentile:

General Category: 50th percentile

SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile

General-PwD: 45th percentile

Admission Process

Admission is granted through centralized counselling:
-
All India Quota (AIQ): Managed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

State Quota (Karnataka): Managed by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

Candidates must register with the appropriate counselling authority and select NSVK Sri Venkateshwara Dental College & Hospital as a preferred choice.
