  Eligibility Criteria

For Undergraduate (UG - 5 Year Integrated LL.B.)

  • Educational Qualification: Passed Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum of:

    • 45% marks for General / OBC / PwD / NRI / OCI candidates.

    • 40% marks for SC / ST candidates.

  • Appearing Candidates: Students appearing for their Class 12 board examinations in Spring 2027 are also fully eligible to apply.
  • Age Limit: No upper age limit.

For Postgraduate (PG - 1 Year LL.M.)

  • Educational Qualification: Possess an LL.B. degree or equivalent with a minimum of:
    • 50% marks for General / OBC / PwD candidates.

    • 45% marks for SC / ST candidates.

  • Appearing Candidates: Candidates in their final year of the LL.B. degree program can also apply.
  • Age Limit: No upper age limit.

 

Application Fee & Payment Details

  • General / OBC / PwD / NRI / OCI Candidates: ₹4,000
  • SC / ST / BPL Candidates: ₹3,500
  • Previous Years' Official Question Papers (Optional): ₹500

 Documents Required Before You Fill the Form

Keep scanned copies of the following ready in the specified formats:

  1. Passport-size Photograph (clear, recent front-facing photo; JPEG format up to 500 KB)

  2. Candidate's Signature (clear signature on white paper; JPEG format up to 100 KB)

  3. Category / Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC non-creamy layer, if applicable; PDF format up to 2 MB)

  4. PwD or BPL Certificate (if applying under these categories; PDF format up to 2 MB)

  5. State Domicile Certificate (if claiming state-level NLU quota; PDF format up to 2 MB)

  2. New Registration: Click on "CLAT 2027" and register using a valid email address and active mobile number.

  3. Verify OTP: Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number and email to activate your account.

  4. Fill Application Form: Enter your personal details, permanent address, and academic qualifications.

  5. Select NLU Preferences: Choose your preferred examination city centres and fill out your order of preference for participating NLUs carefully (Note: NLU preference order cannot be altered after form submission).

  6. Upload Documents: Attach your photograph, signature, and category certificates as required.

  7. Pay Application Fee: Pay the prescribed application fee online and download the payment receipt.
