NMAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria
General eligibility requirements:
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
- Applicants need at least 50% aggregate marks in their graduation.
- Students currently in the final year of their undergraduate programme can also apply.
- There is no upper age limit specified for appearing in NMAT.
- Previous work experience is not compulsory.

NMAT 2026 Syllabus
GMAC does not prescribe a detailed, fixed topic-wise syllabus for NMAT. However, candidates can prepare using the topics commonly covered in previous examinations.
The syllabus is divided into three sections.
1. Language Skills
This section checks your understanding of English, vocabulary and reading comprehension. Regular reading and grammar practice can help you improve your performance.
2. Quantitative Skills
The Quantitative Skills section focuses on mathematical concepts, numerical ability and data interpretation. Candidates should build a strong understanding of mathematical concepts.
3. Logical Reasoning
This section evaluates your ability to analyse information, identify patterns and solve problems logically. Regular practice is particularly useful for improving speed and accuracy.
