ADMISSION PROCESS
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program at ADC, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed the 10 2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects.
- Minimum aggregate marks in PCB:
- General category: 50%
- SC/ST category: 40%
- Physically disabled candidates: 45%

Age Requirement:
- Must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the admission year.
- Maximum age limit is 25 years (relaxation applicable for reserved categories).

Citizenship:
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- NRI/OCI/PIO candidates are eligible under the NRI quota.
Entrance Examination
- Admission is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
- Candidates must qualify NEET UG and meet the cutoff set by the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), Gujarat.
Admission Procedure

NEET UG Registration and Qualification
- Candidates must appear for NEET UG and secure a valid score.

State Counseling Registration
- Register on the ACPUGMEC portal for Gujarat State Quota (85 percent).
- For All India Quota (15 percent), register on the MCC official website.

Choice Filling and College Selection
- During counseling, list Ahmedabad Dental College and Hospital as a preferred choice.

Seat Allotment
- Based on NEET rank, category, and preferences, seats are allotted through centralized counseling.

Document Verification and Admission Confirmation
- Report to the college with original documents for verification.
- Pay the admission fee and complete formalities to confirm the seat.
Seat Intake
- Ahmedabad Dental College and Hospital offers 100 seats annually for the BDS program.
