Overview: Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering (BUIE) was established in 1998 as the first self-financed engineering college in the Bankura district of West Bengal. It is a government-supported (TEQIP-II funded) institution, affiliated with MAKAUT and approved by AICTE. The college is located on a lush green campus in Pohabagan, Bankura, and is known for providing quality technical education with modern infrastructure, including advanced laboratories and separate hostels for boys and girls.
