Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani-Admission 2026

Admission Process

1. Apply online through the BITS admission portal.

2. Appear for BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) – the exclusive entrance exam for BITS campuses (Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, Dubai).

3. Seat allotment is based on BITSAT score and preference of campus/course.

4. Counselling and document verification follow the exam results.

5. Final admission is confirmed after fee payment.

 Eligibility Criteria

1. Must have passed 12th (Class XII) with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.

2. Minimum aggregate of 75% in PCM subjects.

3. At least 60% marks individually in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

4. Candidates who appeared for Class XII in the current or previous year are eligible.

5. Admission is strictly merit-based via BITSAT (no other exam accepted).

Documents Required for Admission

1. Class 10th mark sheet & certificate

2. Class 12th mark sheet & certificate (with PCM subjects)

3. BITSAT Admit Card & Scorecard

4. Transfer/Migration Certificate (from last school/college)

5. Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS, if applicable)

6. Passport-size photographs (recent)

7. Identity Proof (Aadhaar card, Passport, or equivalent)

8. Medical Certificate (as per BITS format)

9. Fee payment receipt (initial admission fee)
