Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Off-Campus, Jaipur

Overview: Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Off-Campus Jaipur, was established in 1995 as an extension center of the world-renowned BIT Mesra. Initially housed in the campus of the Birla Institute of Scientific Research (BISR), it began by offering postgraduate programs and has since expanded into a significant hub for undergraduate technical education in Rajasthan. As a constituent unit of BIT Mesra (a Deemed University), the Jaipur campus follows the same rigorous academic curriculum and examination standards as the main campus. Spread over approximately 10 acres in the Malviya Industrial Area, Jaipur, it features 15 high-tech lab halls including VLSI Lab and a specialized Plasma Lab. Students are entitled to the same BIT Mesra degree and have access to Centralized Placements at the main campus. Ranked #51 in Engineering (Group Ranking under BIT Mesra) by NIRF 2025.
