Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Patna is a private engineering institute established in 2006. It is an off-campus extension of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (Jharkhand). The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and operates under the academic framework of BIT Mesra, a Deemed-to-be University.
