CANARA ENGINEERING COLLEGE (CEC), BENJANAPADAVU

Eligibility Criteria

• Academic: Passed 12th (PUC) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

• Minimum Marks: 45% aggregate in PCM (40% for SC/ST/OBC/Cat-1 of Karnataka).

• Entrance Exams: You must have a valid rank in KCET, COMEDK UGET, JEE Main, or KRLMPCA CET.

CEC allocates seats through four distinct channels:

1. KEA (KCET) Quota: For Karnataka residents. Use KEA Code: E039.

2. COMEDK Quota: For students from across India based on UGET ranks.

3. KRLMPCA Quota: Specifically for Religious and Linguistic (Konkani) Minority students. This is a separate entrance test.

4. Management Quota: Direct admission based on 10 2 merit and entrance exam participation. Applicants should visit the campus or use the CEC Admission Portal.

 Admission Process

1. Application: Register for your chosen entrance exam. Note: If you speak Konkani, obtaining the Konkani Mother Tongue Certificate (from your school head) is vital for the minority quota.

2. Counseling: Participate in the respective counseling (KEA, COMEDK, or KRLMPCA).

3. Verification: Upon seat allotment, complete the document verification process.

4. Reporting: Visit the campus at Benjanapadavu to submit original documents and pay the balance fee.
