Eligibility Criteria for BDS Admission at Chhattisgarh Dental College & Research Institute (CDCRI), Rajnandgaon

Admission to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program at CDCRI is based entirely on merit through the NEET-UG examination. The process is managed by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh, under the state quota, and by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota seats.

 Academic Requirements:

  • Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10 2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.

  • Subjects Required: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology are mandatory, along with English as a core subject.

  • Minimum Marks:

    • General Category: Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).

    • SC/ST/OBC Categories: Minimum 40% aggregate.

    • General-PH Category: Minimum 45% aggregate.

 NEET-UG Eligibility

  • Exam Requirement: Candidates must appear for and qualify in the NEET-UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

  • Minimum Percentile:

    • General: 50th percentile

    • SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile

    • General-PH: 45th percentile

 Age Criteria

  • Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the admission year.

 Admission Process

  1. Qualify NEET-UG: Your NEET score is the sole criterion for eligibility.

  2. Register for Counseling: After results, register on the for state quota or for AIQ seats.

  3. Choice Filling: Select preferred colleges and lock choices.

  4. Seat Allotment: Based on NEET rank, category, and preferences.

  5. Reporting & Verification: Report to the allotted college with documents and pay the admission fee to confirm your seat.
