The admission process for the full-time MBA program at Chitkara University (Chitkara Business School) is based on a candidate's entrance exam score (CAT/MAT/etc.) or a university-conducted test, followed by an interview round.

 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the MBA program, a candidate must meet the following requirements:

1. Educational Qualification: Hold a Bachelor's Degree (full-time, any stream) from a recognized university.

2. Minimum Marks: Must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their Bachelor's Degree.

3. Final Year Students: Candidates appearing in their final year examination can apply, but must maintain the minimum aggregate percentage until the previous year's exam and submit their graduation completion certificate by the stipulated deadline.

4. Work Experience: Work experience is NOT mandatory for admission to the full-time MBA program.

 Admission Process

The selection process for the full-time MBA is merit-based and involves both an entrance exam score and interpersonal assessment.

Step 1: Entrance Exam Score

Candidates must possess a valid score from one of the following national-level management entrance exams:

• CAT

• MAT

• NMAT

• XAT

• CMAT

Step 2: Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI)

Candidates are shortlisted for the final selection rounds based on their submitted entrance exam score (or the result of the CUT). The selection round typically includes:

• Group Discussion (GD): To assess communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

• Personal Interview (PI): To evaluate general and business knowledge, motivation, attitude, and clarity of career goals.

Step 3: Final Selection and Fee Payment

• The final selection is based on a holistic assessment, combining the candidate's academic record, entrance exam performance, and performance in the GD and PI rounds.

• Shortlisted candidates are offered admission, which is confirmed upon payment of the required admission fee and verification of all original documents.
