Dasmesh Institute of Research & Dental Sciences (DIRDS), located in Faridkot, Punjab, was founded in 1992 under the aegis of the Dasmesh Educational Charitable Trust. Over the years, it has grown into one of the most respected dental colleges in North India, combining rigorous academics with extensive clinical training. The institution is recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, ensuring compliance with national standards and credibility in dental education. The college offers Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) with an annual intake of 100 students, and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programs across major specialties including Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Periodontology, Pedodontics, Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine & Radiology, and Public Health Dentistry. Admissions are strictly merit-based, conducted through NEET UG and NEET MDS examinations.
