DELHI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Delhi Technological University (DTU) is one of India’s oldest and most prestigious public technical universities, located on Bawana Road, Rohini, Delhi. The institution was originally established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic, making it one of the earliest engineering institutions in the country. In 1952, it was renamed Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), and in 2009, it was granted full university status by the Government of NCT of Delhi, becoming Delhi Technological University. DTU is a state public university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act. As a state university, DTU does not require AICTE approval, but it follows all academic and regulatory standards prescribed by national education authorities. Over the decades, DTU has built a strong reputation for academic excellence, innovation, and industry-oriented technical education. The university campus spreads across approximately 164 acres and is equipped with modern academic blocks, advanced laboratories, high-performance computing facilities, a well-stocked central library, research centres, innovation hubs, hostels, sports complexes, medical facilities, and student activity centres.
